This may be too late and not a great location for you, but......
I get A4s printed at Digiphoto Studio, Bldg 6, Media City for 25dh a print. Still quite pricey, in my opinion, but cheaper than the 40dh you are being quoted.

I bought one last year that was 239 and another which is wireless for about 380. I think I saw them in C4 during ramadan for 199, may have been a special offer. I have had no problems with mine. I bought one for DH a few years ago, the all-in-one with fax for around 450.

My printer is brand new, bought it about 4 months ago before relocating here... Not sure DH will agree to getting another one. We`ll just stock up on ink everytime we are home I guess.

for a few hundred DH's you could buy a new HP photosmart printer and that would cover your costs of getting pics printed a few times.

Out of ink, and they don`t sell my ink anywhere in Dubai!! So annoyed today! lol

It`s just so frustrating. The 8x10`s back in North-American cost about 2-3$, where as here its the equivalent of 8-10$... Same shops.. I don`t get it.

They charge more for 8x10 because it is not the normal snapshot size that is processed by their machinery

strange, how can they charge 6 dhs for a 5x7 but then 30 dhs for 8x10 and 40 for A4...
Just annoyed since I only need these photos for peer evaluation. Seems steep to pay 120 dhs for 5 mins worth of opinions.

Just got back from Kodak Express in AR community center, and they were asking for 40 AED for 1 print A4 size (little longer then 8x10 in). Is this absurd or is this the prices for printing photos in Dubai?
I didn't print them yet, just came back home to see where I could have them printed instead. I need 3 photos printed for my photography class tonight and I don't want to fork out 120 AED for 3 pics!
