As of this week I'm now also one very happy new customer. Lovely guy, great company to deal with. Everything also now available from the pharmacy if you want to install it yourself.
I noticed an immediate improvement in condition after washing my hair and the amount of fallen ("broken") hair when drying/straightening was a tiny fraction of what used to fall.

Were you recharging it every month with salt? We've been using ours for over a year. Kids used to get a lot of dry and itchy skin, my hair was falling out. SO SAFE solved our problems. Just have to be diligent in recharging, you feel the difference right away after recharging.

Hiya Shazi,
when they came round to install mine they mentioned they had testing certificates on there websites that proved the 98% chlorine removal, but honestly I never really believed in these until I bought the units for myself and children. They work!

thanks ladies...
i think i will call them and ask them to come and see the shower and see if its compatible with my shower..
one more question...
Does this really eliminate salt and chlorine and hard water? How do u know it really does apart from feeling it does? I mean do they demonstrate or prove it to u? i just dont want to fall for any gimmicks..

Hi Shazi M
I paid 249 plus I purchased an additional filter. The filter lasts around 6 months (or 3 in our case for 2 adults and 2 kids sharing the same bathroom).
We have a 'phone shower'. It might be worth calling one of the companies and asking about your particular shower head. If they can't supply one for you they may be able to recommend someone that can.
I hope this helps.

can anyone give me a rough idea of how much the total fixing and filter costs per shower and how long is it supposed to last if there are one or 2 adults using it everyday..on average..
I have a wireless shower - the head is attached to the wall and the wire is not there (so its not a phone shower)..i think the wire/pipe that connects to the head is behind the wall and not accessible..so in this case, would i still be able to use a shower filter ?
can anyone pls recommend me a company that can assist me with this? and prices will be very useful so i dont get overcharged..

Hi ladies
I recently purchased a shower water filter from http://www.h2opureblue.com/ too. I rang and ordered it over the phone as the webpage said they were sold out. The lovely sales man delivered it to my door later that day and installed it. So far so good, I can no longer smell chlorine as I could before and my hair def. feels softer.
Ps. No, I don't work for the company.

I bought a swissblu shower head a couple of weeks ago, it is good and I can feel the difference, also liked the shower head, it has a replaceable vit c aroma filter cartridge that sits in the neck of the shower head, probably not necessary... Have noticed a difference to the condition of my hair and it was easy to fit. Had been looking for the C4 ones for nearly two years, they never had them in when I looked. I got mine from Marina Pharmacy around 280 dhs with two vit c cartridges. But might try the pureblu in another bathroom and see which one I prefer. Here is the link for swissblu http://www.swissblu.com/products/vita-c-shower-jet.html

Got mine 3 hours ago. Shower water is really softer.
Thank you SueB for the link of that H2O pureblue, the website is informative. Called them in the morning and they came the same day to fix it. The company is from Scotland as far as I understood. It looks good and works well, did not effect much of the water pressure.
Paid 324, the filter and replacement cartridge. Need to change every 6 months. edited by Marita on 30/09/2010

You can buy in Carrefour for approx Dhs 120 and you fit yourself. Brand name is SO SAFE and they sell the replacement cartridge also. Hi Sue,
I just bought one too for my house and its great. Its easy to install, you can take it with you if you move.
I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I can feel the difference, especially for my kids. My kids have extremely dry skin and it has really helped improve the irritation. And for me, its great as my hair isn't as dry any more.
The filter is actually not too big either.
They delivered mine and installed which was great.

I think on their website they say they can install but honestly, it took my husband 1 minute to get it screwed in . you just unscrew the hose that is attached from the faucet to the shower head, at the faucet, screw in the filter, screw the hose to the filter and you are done...very easy to do. There are directions. It does not matter what shower head you have as it screws directly to the faucet.
Sure you can take it with you ....it just screws into the faucet

Thanks for sharing this! Sue - do you know if they will install it too? We have 4 different types of shower heads in each of our bathrooms so have no idea which one I would use...

Welcome Kells, I have been looking forever for one I could use with the detachable shower head, so far, this is the only one I have found. If anyone knows of others for detachable shower heads, please post

I just bought this http://www.h2opureblue.com/ and it is one of the only ones that fit the faucet so it can be used with the detachable shower head/hose. I know there are lots of people buying water filters for the shower and thought this might interest you. They deliver
