I'm too embarrassed to get someone else to do it! I use Oven Mate from Lakeland, brilliant, slap it on leave for a few hours and wipe off believe me it's the only thing to clean the 'black hole'! And I must get some more

I also use Fornet and it is very good. Just make sure you open the windows as the smell it's so strong.

Thanks, will try this one, the others I have used have not cleaned it properly even with a lot of scrubbing by the maid (which is moi)

Green spray bottle. I get it from the Union Co-op.

I cleaned mine yesterday. I use Fornet. Very strong smell so if you if have little ones just spray, leave the kitchen and come back after an hour. No scrubbing needed. Just wipe with a cloth and the cooker is spotless.
I also use this on the kitchen fan, blinds and cupboards above the cooker. My kitchen is like new
