Just bumping this up!

Anyone else have a similar experience with a New Look order? I managed to speak to the customer service in the UK and he said I have to wait until the 13th April before they can process the order as "lost" and refund the money!

Dawn74 - just wanted to check if you ever received your parcel?

I placed an order last month and it was dispatched on the 19th and still not in my hands (or in my closet I should say)! Am really kicking myself for not using my S&S account as guaranteed I would've had it by now

Was the post office able to help you without a tracking number?

Hi Dawn74,

Could you please let me know if you found your parcel and if so was it sent to another Emirates post location. I had a parcel sent from the UK at the beginning of Feb and still hasn't arrived, our pobox is at Mirdif and I spoke to them today and they have no record of a parcel.

I have had a couple of purchases sent by post - the first time, there was a reminder left with my normal mail that said I had a package and that I was supposed to go collect it at the Post Office. The second time I got a call and a reminder that my package had arrived and i was supposed to pick up. Both times were at the Post office in Deira. The websites I had bought from had shipping addresses that included my phone number along with postal address.

There is another post office in Deira . They should call you if they have a parcel for collection

Parcels usually end up in the big post office in Karama - we've been a couple of times to pick up very very late xmas presents sent by mail.

If you are planning on doing lots of shopping from the UK you would be far better opening a shop and ship account and they deliver to your door - we saved so much money this way.

If it's that much then it might well get stuck in customs, as I'm sure you'll have to pay duty on that amount.

Thanks for your reply, the order was for nearly £500.00 so it should be in a large bag. I am so shocked that they didnt send it by courier. x

Standard snail mail can take ages. Give it a couple of weeks.

Hi

Has anyone ordered from New Look in the UK?? I recently placed quite a large order and it hasn't arrived yet. I have spoken to New Look and they have said it has been sent standard post, not tracked.... if this is the case does anyone know if it will be held at a post office somewhere in Dubai, if so where is the main post office??
