Happened to go in there last week for the first time - far too expensive for what they sell...

My favorite is IF boutique on (I think) Umm al Sheif Road - just google it. It has some high end alternative brands - she will not be disappointed.

I love O'de Rose on Al Wasl Road in Umm Suqeem though it is expensive...

I have a shopaholic friend visiting soon. She says she wants to shop for quirky stuff, especially bits and pieces for her new home. But she doesn't want the regular brands which she'd get anywhere in the world. Any ideas? I haven't seen many indie stores here except for maybe Sauce on the beach road.

ETA Though she's focussed on stuff for the house, I'm pretty sure she'll be quite pleased with clothes shopping too. Hence, the idea of Sauce.
