I think they are open all day 7:30am to 11pm. They have a website - http://www.thefarmdubai.com/ - with a map. Plum - sorry for such a late reply. The food is all kinds of eggs, cereal, fruit, create-your-own paninis - the brunch menu is certainly good. I am not sure I'd like it so much for lunch. I recall smoothies being 30-ish and mains 30-40-ish but could be wrong.

Have been to the Farm some days ago and I have to say that they are having a great lovely grocery section with a really delicious selection. I have tried the the vegetable chips which come in their own packaging and they are DELICIOUS. I will definitive go for more!!!

That would be brilliant emlsnre. Have a celebration coming up but wanted to let others know prices so they could budget. If you can send a pdf menu, please send to: jaybridge2005@yahoo.com. TIA

Also, does anyone know whether or not it would be easy enough to get taxis from around there?

Dont know about brunch, but breakfast prices vary from 20 for pancakes, 24 for waffles, the variety is quite diverse, I have a menu in pdf format that I can email if you leave a contact. But would say for breakfast and coffee I guess the average cost would be between 50 - 70...

Same question...plus average brekkie prices, timings etc (any info would be helpful). Their site isn't up and running yet.

DH and I went for lunch at the farm yesterday, the setting is fab, we had to sit outside as we didnt have a reservation, wasn't too bad as they have cooling system outside. DH had pasta with chicken, it was nice but the portion size was small and the chicken was processed. I had a panini, it was a nice but a little dry, the side salad was yummy. We both had fresh juices also. The waiter seemed a little ditzy and we had to ask him 3 times to bring our drinks (it wasn't that busy). I would go again but maybe for breakfast next time as the breakie menu looks delicious!

Thanks Claire, I normally turn off to Desert Leaf and thought if ucarried on straight it took you down to the building site where there are high rises going up.

Will find out in the morning, just wondered if once on the Al Barari road you needed to turn off into one of the areas....

I've been twice for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The drive in to the restaurant once you turn into Al Barari itself is lovely as one can admire the landscaping. We sat outside both times and the leisurely feel and calm was a welcome change. Our brekkie was good - great smoothies. Fresh passion fruit! Went to the nursery and got some plants the 2nd time and they were so helpful and delivered.

I went for breakfast a few weeks ago and enjoyed it; fresh-tasting, nice food. Coming from AR distance wasn't too bad either. Nice setting, peaceful, lush greenery. For breakfast (around 8am?) the place was not-surprisingly empty but the wait staff was really kind of nagging/rushing us when it came to ordering ASAP. That annoyed me. I cannot stand hovering staff.

Otherwise no complaints and I'm looking forward to try a return visit for lunch or dinner, hopefully with wine soon!

that'll be a no then....

I liked it - it's different - love the ipad menus but it takes a while to order while you decide exactly what ingredients you want in your sauce if you're having a pasta dish!!!!! worth a try - not sure I would spend lots of time there but it was a nice change and I enjoyed my lunch there.

The ambience is lovely, the price like all the other places in Dubai, the food is regular, even though they use different ingredients, it's not great as I expected it to be.

There was a review in the Time Out recently.

In a sentence...." Beautiful surroundings, nice food but over priced."

DH and I went a few weeks ago and found the review quite accurate.
