Kuwait Central Blood Bank is the only blood bank in Kuwait that is operated by the government. It is located in Jabriya, behind Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. The blood bank is a vital part of the healthcare system, and supplies blood to both private and public hospitals. It is an extremely important service provider, and is equipped with the best technology. 

When donating blood you will need:

  • to be between 18 and 60 years of age

  • to not have any diseases

  • your Civil ID for Kuwaiti citizens and residents

  • Passport for visitors

  • Unified ID number, for Non-Kuwaiti citizens
