We used Campbell Cohen, lawyers that work from Canada, it took us just 11 months to complete the application. It did cost a fair amount, but they were very professional, helping us every step of the way, right up until the end. It was money well spent in my mind, been in Canada 6 months now and really enjoying it!

Do you have the papers already? My DH just applied for work/ immigration to Canada (fingers crossed!). I am not working right now and I filled out all of his papers. I would be happy to help you for much less than a lawyer would charge. I am American, but my father was Canadian. Email me at ticklekittens@gmail.com

My brother and his family did it a few years ago from London. They did it all themselves, it was a bit of a hassle, but worth it in the end and they are now proud Canadian citizens

We want to start immigration papers to Canada, should we do it ourselves or ask a lawyer to do it? as I heard alot of people they ask a lawyer to do the work, but they pay around $3000 to $4000. Is it harder if we do it ourselves, please if you have any feedback on this issue, advise. thanks
