Thanks for the help - Dubaikb has kindy given me a packet. I have now also ordered 6 months online through a UK pharmacy website, they will be delivered to my parents who I will see in the next couple of weeks

Hi Was told Marvelon is very similar and you can buy that in most pharmacies.. always on the shelf..

I have been told Lygynon has been discontinued, I changed to Marvelon and have not noticed any side effects or difference in weight etc.

I also took Logynon. I went to see my GP and she said the alternative is Marvelon. Hope this helps!

I too have been looking for this everywhere and finally was told yesterday in a marina pharmacy that it is now banned in the UAE!!! Is this true ladies? Anyone else heard this? Trying to find a substitute but not at all sure...can anyone help?

Has any anybody found a chemist recently that has Logynon in stock - on my last packet !

I use the same one and they told me they are not bringing it in anymore, not sure why or even if that's true, so in a panic I went to every pharmacy around me and bought them. I'm not going home this summer so needed enough to get me to next summer. I don't know if you'll get any, but worth trying any of them. Get any of the main ones to call their other branches. I know there is none in Mirdiff, Dubai Mall or any of the Life pharmacies. Sorry.

Try the chemists that are on Bank Street (quiet a few) - running from Burjaman down to Masalla Tower - I have always managed to find some in one of them !

Boots - yip and every other pharmacy I could get to in my lunch hour! Just phoned Life Pharmacy and asked for a list of pharmacies in Dubai that have it in stock so heading to Karama after work! Thanks

did you try boots dubai mall or the other pharmacies in dubai mall?

I hope someone can help me! Does anyone have a spare pack of logynon that I could buy from them or know of any pharmcies that currently have it in stock?
I've been to 7 different pharmacies today and none have it in!
None of the other brands have the same 'ingredients' so I dont want to risk trying another brand.
