Yes, I am not sure that they would reduce JC sandals to AED84. :-)

I've actually been surprised by the M&S and Debenhams prices here, I also assumed that the prices would be a lot more, but having bought a few bits and pieces, I thought the prices were comparable to the UK. Sales is a different scenario though.....sorry can't help with the credit card situation.

yes but the price would probably be triple wouldn't it knowing here? The point was the sale was a good one and I am missing the boat.

They do Jasper Conran in the Debenhams in Dubai Mall, have you tried looking there?

Can I ask if anyone has successfully ordered from Debenhams via shop and ship with a UAE credit card?

I have tried to order twice from them, once I incorrectly put my billing address as the delivery so that got cancelled. Then I re ordered with my PO BOX address as my billing address (same as cc) and delivery address UK shop & ship address but my order failed their security verifications with no other explanation.

I am pulling my hair out as they will not advise me if I can order via shop & ship with them using my Dubai cc. And I really, really need my Jasper Conran £14 sandals :-) so please help!!

No...you can't stockpile stuff as each item is shipped as soon as they receive it.

When we signed up a few years ago we were asked what sort of shipping frequency we wanted - 3 times a week, twice a week, once a week or even I think once a month. Have they stopped giving you a choice?

Kakariki - if you had a friend/relative in the UK, you could send to their home and that person put it together and send to to the shop and ship address.

no you can't stockpile - can you imagine the size of the warehouse they would need if we all did that!!!!! Why don't you just order a few items from the same people and you stockpile in Dubai it would make it more cost effective for you.

I get alot of stuff via Shop and Ship (took delivery of the mother of all parcels yesterday as I'd been on holiday, so three different ones, plus two from the Outnet who deliver here directly via DHL). As stated, you do have to pay the tax, however the UK sales are better (I find) so that evens it out. The outnet / net a porter delivers here directly (DHL) which is quick and makes returns easy; because it's going outside the UK they dedect the tax. Bravissimo deliver directly too however they use the post and there is no tracking; one of my parcels from them went astray although they did resend via Shop and Ship. All in all, I couldn't live without it!!

We use them mostly for things from the UK, unfortunately not tax free as goods are delivered to a UK address first before being sent here. Its a great service and they are very efficient.
I ordered shirts for DH from M&S online uk on Thursday morning and I had an email on Friday saying they were in the Aramex UK mailbox, Sunday afternoon delivered to my door here in Dubai!
Happy Shopping!

NO as they are not being sent outside of the UK. If you want tax free then they have to be delivered out of the UK but bear in mind if they are over a certain value Dubai tax will be added by the courier company / Empost.
