Thank you

We're in Mirador. Love it here. DD (who's 10) calls for her friend on her own and I know I don't need to worry about her. She thinks it's fab!

Welcome, well almost, to the sandpit lcoolie!
I'm sure you won't even feel the Ramadan as you'll be so busy setting up home. The ranches are lovely, we moved to al reem few months back after having lived in a central area of Dubai, and by far the ranches have been so much better with all the different things kids can do.
Good luck with the move!

We arrived from the UK three weeks ago and are in AR too. The heat isn't too bad I am finding because you don't have to be out in it much. It's more the humidity that I have been struggling with! Went out for a run at 5:15 this morning and found I could only do 30 mins whereas in the UK I would normally be out for an hour or so. It wasn't the heat that got me, it was the humidity.

Have a good flight over

Where in AR are you going to be living and what school will your children be attending?

Finally on our way Weds am! Can 't believe how fast it's gone. Daunting arriving in such heat & Ramadan! But looking forward to seeing our new pad in AR & getting kids settled in school? Then I can look at getting myself back in shape - bike / gym, both! Not been able to do any since hubby, had to come over to work since March!
