exfoliate often. and wax when you are due. exfoliation helps the strands of hair to open up.

Was recommended tend skin on here - bought it, love it! Got mine from the UK, couldn't find locally.

You can buy ingrowing hair minimizer cream, which does help. You get it from most pharmacy's. Boots in the MOE definitely have it.

Me too.... shaving has reduced the amount of ingrown hairs compared to waxing or epilator.

OP, If the area you are saying is not that big then you should really consider laser hair removal, as I also had the same problem, and after about 4 sessions, I no longer get pimples or ingrowing hairs. It also has made shaving better and smoother. It took just about 6 months to see the result. Sometimes creams and exfoliation treatments add up to be just as expensive. Look into Laser for a long term result. Kaya skin clinic has a really great pain free way of doing it. Well.... less pain than your average laser treatment can be.

Try ex-foliating the skin often.
I use one of those scrunchy ball things in the shower and it helps with ingrown hairs.
