It sounds to me like - Psoriasis - which I have had all my life. I use Tritar but it gets bought for me in South Africa.

I would though go to the doctor to make sure what it is before trying any sort of shampoo.

Seems my son is going to have a olive oil or vaseline head massage tonight ;-) Will follow with doc check if it is not gone next week. Thanks you all for your advises.

I've just got rid of some cradle cap in my 3year old's hair too. I normally put vaseline to soften the flakes for 30 mins before I remove flakes with a bone comb and then wash as normal x

May be cradle cap. Best cure for that is to rub extra virgin olive oil in before they go to bed & shampoo off in the morning, rubbing dry vigorously with a towel. You may need to repeat for a few nights.

Could also be a fungal infection I would take her to the Dr just incase.

Avoid shampoos with non organic ingredients, unfortunately even baby shampoos are full of toxic petrochemicals, read the labels because some of the so called organic ones have things like linalool, sls, sles and EDTA, all of which are chemicals best avoided by infants and children especially.

Any recommendation? Currently using Mustella for both him and his sister but I guess it is time for a change...at least for big brother! Thanks for your advices.
