It's a no -no... the doctor needs to see the color of the nail beds to assess if there are any blood flow problems during and after delivery.

They made me take mynail polish off with all three babies and I didn't have a c-section.

they say it's not allowed... with my first, i had c-sec under general anesthesia and they had hurriedly removed the polish... but with my second under spinal they didn't... both were emergency csec... so not sure... better be safe and not bother with the polish!

Have doubts if i shall apply nail polish at my mani pedi appointment - which i booked right before the date of me elective CS at Latifah hospital. Any one has any idea if they allow nail polish or it shall be removed? (i am opting for spinal anastesia if it matters)
