I agree with Fairycake - we have done it twice during Ramadan and it was totally ok, just the same as any normal time of the year! Guess it depends on your movers!

I've done it once and dont want to do it again. It takes longer for movers to do it since it's Ramadan and plus some of them were fasting so we abit hesitate offering them something not knowing for sure who's fasting and who's is not.

I think it's a nightmare to move regardless what time of year it is...it's not like things run so efficiently here when it isn't Ramadan.

We will be moving this year when our tenancy agreement expires at the end of August - we were planning to go on holiday during Eid week and move earlier in Aug, however it has only just occurred to me for some reason that it would mean sorting everything out during Ramadan. Has anyone done this and found it OK or would it be likely to be a complete nightmare? I really want to go away for Eid and take advantage of the days off work seeing as we don't get too many days off but am thinking it may be a stupid idea in case looking for something during Ramadan is impossible!
