We found our ideal apartment today in Amwaj 2! Both bedrooms are ensuite... all rooms have beautiful sea view... the lounge is smaller but were making the comprimise on that one as were getting the apartment direct from the landlord so escaping a hefty commission charge. Thank you ladies for your help! Big Grin

If you have no luck with the Amwaj Office then go directly to Salwan Office/Taziz and they should have properties for you also.

Sorry, none of the floor plans on the list match our apartment. Not easy to describe it, but I'll try.
Our guest loo is opposite the front door with the kitchen behind. As you go through the kitchen door, the double door area with the tank and w/m is on your right and then it opens up into a square kitchen which doesn't have a hatchway to the living room so it can be completely closed off. Lots of cupboards and space for a dishwasher. Window looks out towards the sea.
Next to the kitchen is a large L shaped living room with two lots of double sliding doors each leading to the 'wrap round' balcony, sea view from one part of the balcony, and round the corner a marina view from the other, and then a further window in the other part of the room.
The two en-suite bedrooms, which both have big windows, are off a corridor to the left of the front door.
Hope my description makes a bit of sense.
We also have a small gym in our building.

Thanks Alismum... which cluster are you in? This also seems like one of the big 2 beds...

This is exactly the floorplan DH saw today but the laundry room was barely big enough to fit in a washing machine.

I cant believe how different each apartment floorplan is...

Thanks!

I wish I could just spend the day looking at 101 apartments if I wasnt unwell.

Thanks lou... do you mind me asking how much your rent is in how many cheques? I'm just trying to get a clear picture of whether or not our budget is reasonable for what we want!

I’m in a 2 beds + laundry in Sadaf,

Marina view, massive master bedroom but only 1 en suite the guest bathroom is directly opposite the 2nd bedroom, kitchen isn’t massive but big enough. Lots and lots of storage cupboard space all over the apartment,

The laundry room is big enough to use as an office and has a desk, washing machine, boiler, shelves, suitcases and other bits in there!

When we moved in we looked at about 10-15 different apartments all in different buildings and this was the biggest we saw and the only one with a laundry room, every apartment was different, but we did see another apartment exactly the same as ours on a higher floor in Sadaf 7.

If it helps I’m sadaf 7 apartment **04

The office isn't open on a Friday. Next day will be Saturday. Phone number
04 427 0540. Lower floors are usually a bit cheaper.

Thank you so much Amelia! it seems Amwaj is what we are after. We can do 95k 2 cheques or even 1 cheque if we had to. I'll call this office tomorrow.

Fingers crossed we stopped getting bumped!

We have a large 2 bed. (both en-suite) in Amwaj 3 on a high floor. Guest bathroom, large living room with two sets of double sliding doors on to two balconies, totally enclosed big kitchen with plenty of room for table and chairs, no laundry room as such but a double door space in the kitchen which houses the hot water tank and washing machine and we have put shelving in. We have sea and marina views and pay 96,000 in 6 cheques. Our management office (DIRE) is in Amwaj 2 if you want to ask them what is available.

Theres apartments all over dubizzle in JBR in our price range and I've spoken to people on EW in the big 2 beds paying what our budget is yet everytime we go for viewings were shown cr**!

The agent also tried qouting 120k for these ridiculously small apartments. I can get a 3 bed in JBR for that much.

Does it have to be JBR? Why not check out Executive Towers which is like JBR but in the city

Podium level (pools, jogging, walkways with buggys etc) - shops/cafes - lovely views (sea, Burj Khalifa etc), high ceilings, large rooms and 2 beds within your budget or less

DH took time off work again today to go check out some apartments. The agent promised us they were the largest apartments but they werent. Only one bedroom was en suite, the laundry room was a tiny square room just about enough to fit a washing machine if anything, the views were poor and the kitchen was very small too. The second apartment had no laundry room at all. Ugh.

Where are these two beds with both en suite and large laundry room as we cant find them

Our budget is 95k tops.
