when I was applying on line, I had 4 persons of 1 nationality and 1 of another, and the separate one was always given dates a month after the others, it was not possible to get all together. The only difference was nationality.

I did the whole thing online as in the application. Then you schedule an appointment after which you make the payment before you turn up at the embassy/ consulate here. So you just can't turn up randomly they are very strict by appointment only!!

Let's see how i process.. hopefully with some luck I get an earlier date.

Another friend of mine also tried for an earlier date and got the same error message. If they don't allow you to change dates easily then why even give the option

Is it not possible to get the visa online? Or at least start the process? Or have you already done that? We're from countries to which the 90-day visa waiver applies, so I suppose things are easier for us as until now, we've just pitched up at the US Embassy, queued, (paid, I assume - when I say we I mean my husband ) handed our passports in and hung around for a few hours till we got the visa. This was in Switzerland, though, probably different here.

so after a struggle managed to get an appointment as late as 01 Aug for our US visa. However, I've been checking for the dates to open to re-schedule another date but every time I try to do it when I see a slot available. It keeps coming up with an error message

"No appointment was found based on the information entered. Please go back, modify any necessary information, and try again. "

And this comes up after the system gives me the original date of appointment and after I put in the confirmation id.

So what am i doing wrong?/ Can anyone help?

This is really urgent as I need another earlier date for an appointment and few available now. But they go off in minutes like hot cakes
