Bump.
I am am to hire an adult wheel chair. Althoguh my daughter is 4/5 yrs old. I am in desperate need for a childs wheelchair. Does anybody know where I could get my hands on a small wheel chair? Sorry I just need to try and sort this. I really want her to be able to start dchool. She was not in hospital here so they are not obliged to lend us one. Thanks in advance.

Hi ladies,

I am in a muddle. My oldest daughter, 4 yrs, had a hip operation over the summer, while at home in Ireland. She is two weeks after her cast has been removed and is not weight bearing yet. The problem is, she begins school on Monday. She can't walk unaided. I really want her to go to school as she improves even more once aorund other kids - she is alway trying to walk a bit more. The school havn't got back to me yet regarding this. I need to get a wheel chair for her, for a month or so. Just so that when she has to move around the school there is a way to ge ther around. Does anybody by any chance have one? Or know where i would be able to rent one.
Thanks, I feel that I should have been more prepared but had other pressing things as the op and her immediate recovery on my mind.
