Good morning ladies. Have just arrived in Doha (three days ago!) and would love to join you for coffee next Sunday. I will be coming by taxi, do I just ask the driver to drop me at Jones the Grocer or will he need more information? Thank you for your help, look forward to meeting you next week.

Hi ladies!

I just move to Doha two weeks ago, at the moment we are at The Radisson hotel, but we will move to Beverly Hills 3 by April. I would like to know if I could join you for your next coffee day, I've got two girls, 5 months and 2 years old.

Would this be a problem?

Many thanks,

Aurora

Thanks for getting back to me Tamilies, when I mean isolated, can you walk anywhere? I know most of the population does not walkin Doha. But I do not have car.

Will I need to get taxi's everywhere.

Replies appreciated.

Don't worry it's not isolated at all, it's right by Al Waab which is a popular area. There are 2 Mirage compounds there, one is new but the other quite established. Doha is so small that you are only really 15 mins from anywhere anyway

Morning Ladies, are there any ladies from the Fereej Al Soudan area. I will be moving to the Mirage Villas very soon, they are fairly new villas on Al Soudan. Not sure of the area and how isolated I will be living in this area?

I am from the UK, my husband is working for Maersk.

Replies will be appreciated.

Thanks

Afternoon ladies, I arrived in Doha last Friday and will be coming to coffee this Sunday to meet you all - very nervous but I've heard great things about you all. I live in Al Sadd at the moment, does anyone know a suitable bus that will take me? No worries if not, I can always get a taxi!

Hi Mamacool. Don't worry about coming on your own the first time as several ladies have said it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. I keep an eye out for new faces so don't worry you will be made very welcome. See you on Sunday.

Hello Ladies, I am also new to Doha. Been here just over a week now and would really like to join you for coffee and meet new friends. I'm quite nervous about just showing up and meeting new people, but I really need a kick up the bum to get out and about socialising again. I didn't think I'd miss the security of my friends back home in Scotland so soon lol!!!

Hi Crewegirl21. You are more than welcome to join us at Jones The Grocer on Sunday at 10am. You will not miss us as we have grown in size since I started the group in May and practically take over the venue on Sunday mornings. Lots of ladies walk in on their own the first time and I keep an eye out for new faces, so don't worry.

Hi Mustard. I have been reading your thread and I really hope you join us on Sunday. Several girls who live in the Pearl are part of the group. You will be made welcome.

Hi ladies. I will be arriving in Doha next week and wondered is it ok if I come along for coffee.
Am quite nervous about walking in so can you tell me is there a table or area you all sit in. Do I just come along and introduce myself .
Oh my god I feel like a small child
Sorry ladies xx
