Ladies, having a hard time finding magnesium sulphate. The three chemists I tried told me it's not stocked in the UAE. Anyone been able to source here?

On the upside I was offered something for an ingrown toe-nail.

October, I think it is. I'm contemplating laser now because it's getting ridiculous. Rarely had one this bad though.

Thanks again!

that's a shame - I did bring mine back from the UK last year I think. There are a couple of alternative suggestions here:

if this is from waxing, I've had this in the past and just gritted my teeth and squeezed! Excruciating but effective!

Thank you ladies. I'm not familiar with magnesium sulphate so I might have a go at this.

Quite pleased I now have a legitimate excuse to avoid the pin option! A bit too surgical for my nature. :-)

have you tried magnesium sulphate paste and a plaster (which would be very ouch I guess if it's where I think it is).

Was just about to say exactly the same. You will get it at any pharmacy. If it is an ingrown hair, magnesum sulphate paste will bring it to the surface and clear it up within a few days, just keep re-applying.

Morning ladies,

I suspect I am suffering from a infected ingrown hair. It has been going on for ages and not getting any better. I thought it might figure itself out but I'm not so sure now.

I'm just unsure who to see, a regular GP, or a dermatologist.

Has anyone suffered similiarly and could recommend anyone?

Due to it's, ehem, location, I think I'd prefer to see a woman, but not too precious about these things.

Many thanks.
