Keeping your kids entertained isn't always an easy task, they might get bored easily and need stimulation to get their brains working and an outlook to let all that energy out.

We've picked out some family activities to help you make your kids happy and avoid those tantrums!

1. Gondolania Indoor Theme Park

Located inside the Villagio Mall, this is every kid's fantasy! There's everything you can think of - arcade games, bumper cars on ice, ice skating, laser tag, go-karting, bowling, billiards, gondola rides, trampolines, 4D cinemas, and even a roller coaster. There are exciting rides for both the kids and adults as well as many restaurants.

2. Jungle Zone

This is a jungle-themed indoor park with plenty of rides and attractions, including flume rides, bumper cars, mountain coaster, mini rodeo, a sky venture aerial assault course and 7D cinema. It also offers affordable private party rooms, so it would be the perfect place for a birthday party.

3. CanDo Doha

Do you have trouble peeling away your kids from in front of electronics and video games and encouraging them to be active? Well, we've found a compromise for you! This entertainment centre offers digital games that involve exercise and challenges that require both physical effort and using their minds. Your kids will be jumping, cycling and dancing all while they enjoy things like 4D rides and puzzles to name a few. CanDo is a Qatari-developed concept.

4. Aqua Park Qatar

If your kids enjoy being in the water, this is definitely a must! Extending over 50,000 square metres, the park has many activities to keep the family busy, including a giant wave pool, stingray surfing, a lazy river, slides, and an exotic village. There are family-only days and ladies-only days depending on the season, so check their website for the latest information before going.

5. Build-A-Bear Workshop

Children tend to create a special bond with their favourite teddy, so they're bound to love making their very own from scratch. You might not fully understand it but the smiles on your little one's face will certainly make it all worthwhile.

6. Café Ceramique

Having kids sit still while you enjoy a meal might be a challenge sometimes. At Café Ceramique you can paint and decorate the bowls, plates, and mugs and take them home! A fun and simple activity for both you and the kids.

7. Superhero Picnic brunch

Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton, this is a one of a kind family brunch. With illustrative food presentations and a Marvel comic theme, it's a fun way to start your weekend if you feel like splurging a bit. The staff will be dressed up in superhero costumes and all guests, adults and children al, are encouraged to join in by dressing up as well. There is entertainment for the kids, including face-painting and a bouncy castle. This is the place to be for anyone who's into sports. There are lots of sporting facilities here for kids to get involved in. You can also have family picnics and walks with exotic trees all around you. There is a playground for children to roam free safely, making it a popular spot for families.
