| Last updated on 27 June 2017Residents living in Saudi Arabia woke up this week to find that their sandy desert turned into winter wonderland. In a rare occurrence, the temperature fell to a chilling -3 degrees Celsius. Interestingly enough, the weather went back to being in the warm 20s during the day.
Many drivers there are certainly not used to these road conditions, so many either avoided driving or simply parked their cars on the side of the road as they couldn’t manoeuver the slippery roads.

While it is rare, this isn’t the first time snow covered the country in white. Here are a few of our favourites from previous times it snowed over the years.

An absolute must. These are very well made!

Mountain views
What better way to view this white blanket of snow other than from high above? Perfect place to take pause and enjoy the moment.
