Newborn Baby Visa in Singapore

All babies born in Singapore have to be registered by the parents or an authorized proxy within 14 days of the birth. The birth should be registered at one of the Birth Registration Centres. There is leeway for registration to be delayed up to 42 days, however this is not advised. If the registration of the birth is delayed by more than 42 days, the registration must be done at the ICA and must be accompanied by a letter explaining the reason for late registration..

Once registered, the newborn will be issued with a birth certificate.
