Accommodation


It is more expensive to live in the city centre, than outside of it. A one bedroom Apartment in the city centre is around 3000 South African Rand (ZAR), and a 3 bed apartment will cost 6000ZAR.

Expats can drive legally using their home country’s driving license or an international driving permit.

Healthcare


Swaziland does not have the best healthcare and it is advisable to go to nearby South Africa for treatment. More than 50% of the Swazi adult population in HIV positive and life expectancy is not very high.

There are total number of 6 Government Hospitals and 2 Mission Hospitals in Swaziland,  3 of which are Referral Hospitals, according to the Ministry of Health.

Referral Hospitals:  Mbabane Government Hospital, Psychiatric Government Hospital and TB Hospital
Others are:  Hlathikhulu Government Hospita( Shiselweni region), Mankayane Government Hospital (Manzini Region), Pigg’s Peak Government Hospital (Hhohho region)
