Prepare Your Children For the Challenges of Tomorrow at Safa ELC
Safa Kindergarten Nursery was established in April 1979 and our second branch, New Safa Nursery, opened in 1989.  In 2014, the Safa Nurseries changed their name to Safa Early Learning Centres.  Both centres operate under the same management since 1979 and are ISO certified for quality, environment, health and safety.
All our classrooms are spacious, bright and well-equipped to meet the needs of each age group. Our premises are monitored by CCTV security cameras. Our warm, nurturing staff are committed to excellence and take great pride in creating attractive and unique learning environments for children. Our qualified educators are skilled in Early Childhood Education and Development with many years of teaching experience and they speak multiple languages.

For the general welfare of all children we have a Registered Nurse at the centre and a Doctor who makes regular scheduled visits to monitor the health and development of our children. All educators and classroom assistants are trained in Paediatric First Aid.

Partnership with Parents

Parental participation in the school activities plays a vital role in children’s learning.  We are very keen for parents to attend and contribute to our events and activities throughout the year. Parents receive a personal progress report each term for their child.  Regular parent-teacher meetings are held to discuss their child’s development. To enhance our daily communication between parents and class teachers, we use the Educore Mobile Application.

We offer a transport service for an additional fee. Our buses are RTA approved with seatbelts, air conditioning, CCTV cameras and a female supervisor who is with the children at all times.

Academic Curriculum

We provide a high quality, stimulating and fun Early Childhood Education following the British National Early Years Foundation Stage [EYFS] programme. Our aim is to develop the intellectual, emotional and social independence of a child and additionally to EYFS seven learning areas, our programme includes music and movement, cooking, gardening and sensory play. As an important support to our programme, we have a rich extracurricular activity programme, including Soccer, Ballet, Gymnastics and Karate.

Academic Curriculum

Activities consist of educational play, singing, music and movement, learning nursery rhymes, jigsaws puzzles, play house activities, soft play, play dough and an introduction to arts and crafts.  Children also participate in water play sessions.  All activities are developed to improve the children’s social and language skills.

Children will be encouraged to develop their observation skills, curiosity, attention span and their imagination, while maintaining a balance between language, physical activities, music, arts and craft.  Children will learn through play.

The Educator will provide opportunities for exploration, investigation and creativity. Children will learn to make independent choices, develop a shared understanding of spiritual, social and cultural diversity. Oral blending, segmentation and recognition of high-frequency words are part of the pre-reading skills taught in FSII.In the mathematics programme, the centre uses a multi-sensory approach to develop the children’s mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, measuring, grouping and sequencing.
