Seen it too in Lulus al Barsha. Not down the baking asile though as you would think, I have seen boxes of it ..... Like long kitchen foil boxes..... Over the fridges which have the boxed Swiss roll type cakes in...... Opposite the potatoes, local tomatoes/ peppers etc....rolled out icing also next to it boxes of rolled out marzipan. Never bought any myself, just notice each week it being there.

I left half my purchases in London at my mother's flat last week, I was running so late trying to get everything done and packing, but one thing I didn't forget was the small bottle of Silver Spoon red food colouring, if that's any use to you? Does it work? As I have the wilton one as no matter how much red I add it stays pink!!!!!! No idea, just got it because it looked nice and I was thinking of Red Velvet cupcakes!! You're welcome to try it! edited by simpleasabc on 07/03/2012

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I'm after ready rolled icing in black and red. I do have red colouring but no matter how much I add to the fondant it stays a pinky colour!!! Do park n shop still stock coloured fondant does anyone know? Or anywhere else, any suggestions would be great. I have some come over from the uk at the end of march but I'm making cakes for a friends sons birthday before it arrives !!!! Thanks in advance.
