With baking and decorating, like everything else, practice makes perfect. The Australian Women's Weekly cook boos are very good. Pick something simple any perfect it. It's also good to do some reading on food blog,s as others have suggested, to understand what each ingredient does in a recipe,then you can start make substitutions that I don't mind feeding the cats and letting them live in our garden I just think they deserve a better life will work. If you want to practice just decorating,you can use a plate, you don't need to first make a cake.

Hello everyone, I am looking for a beginner cake baking and decorating class/course here in dubai. I have heard of Tavola, but wondering if any of the ladies here know of any other courses/classes. Thanks :) Hi, I have been to tavola but they don't teach basics and only decoration with their own tools, there aren't many good classes around but I just came to know a Lady who is certified by uk/us who makes cakes since 20yrs in dubai started teaching for limited no of students at home, if u need please let me know .
