miss balamory- in tower C where I live the management proposed that they will find a solution of the popping sound by injecting some kind of material between the aluminum and the glass which I really found strange. They have already started on one side of the building based on a BIGGGG complain from one of the appartments - it seems he had a terrible popping I am not sure.. we already asked the security about the results he mentioned that some people reported that the sounds were less. But I am not sure about that as they did not start on our side and it seems its gona take some time.My problem is that the popping sound is mostly in my bedroom and some times it wakes me up!:\:

gigi03: dont worry about moving to tower C . Its true there might be some problems but every thing should have a solution. I have heard recently that they are working on the popping sound that comes out from the expansion and the contraction of the windows and this will apply on the whole building.if you need any information about the tower please let me know I am quite more familiar now. Mrs K:I m glad you did not have any problems.My problems are almost solved now. I am happy so many people are joining tower C now maybe we should meet ladies!!

Hi Lady B - I will take my son very soon there. Its so quiet in Tower C, he gets bored easily as we have moved from a Villa to an Appartment!! It's still really nice down there in the afternoon, like 4pm, it might still be ok. You'd have to check in another few weeks. It really catches the breeze, we love it!!!

Miss Balamory - Thank you for the idea.The only problem is I'm planning to have my son's birthday at the end of May so it might be pretty warm by then. If TowerC has not been lived in before, sure there will be problems in each apartment, we've all been through it and they do come out very quickly and sort things out. Sometimes it takes time to figure out where the problem is coming from, but they do sort them and keep coming back til they are fixed. Just keep calling Salwan and they will come out. Don't be nervous :) All the usual Maid companies come to ET cos it's right on SZ road so no hassle for any of them to come. You can literally pick any company (2/3/4 hours). Molly Maid, Helpers, Home Help, Helping Hands. Readymaid, Maid.ae, etc MrsK not sure on a room but the grassy area at the bottom is still pretty cool in the late afternoon (it's so breezy down there) you could do it there

Hi I will be moving into Tower C in few weeks, getting quite nervous after reading about the problems people are having!! Can anyone suggest a good maid/cleaner company that provide a services in the Executive towers area. I remember when I came to see some properties, there were cleaners waiting to be picked up who all seemed to be from the same company (completely forget the name). Would be looking for someone twice or three times a week. Thanks!

I've been in to beauty rose salon. They have adjusted their prices down since they opened. I've only had my legs waxed, 40 dhs for halfleg which is reasonable. The ambience isn't right in there though and I'd only really go for waxing or if I was in a real hurry.

there are lots of nice-ish places, they are not as glam as DM or Jumeirah but for half the price who cares :D Here is one http://www.dreambeautysalon.com/ You can also call Desert Rose home service - They come to Executive Towers . they are very good and affordable (65dhs blow dry) - You can call Dawn on 050 631 3369

Someone moved the red and white bollard things and we can sneak onto the old rd!!!! At the end of ET go nearly straight behind Mellennium tower. We dont have a 4 x 4 and it was ok. At least we could yesterday!!! ;) Saved ourselves a few saliks at least!!!

does any one know a part time maid in the area of executive towers? Female maid not like those companies who bring 3 4 guys to finish up. or you know something?? i have a friend in abu dhabi who shares a maid with her friend I think its a good idea especially that i dont want her to sleep over. I know its a weird and new idea but if any one wishes to share a maid and we can divide the expenses i have a 2 bed appartment no kids only me and DH and most of the time outside UAE.Hope this works out :)
