We usually keep it fairly simple, but this year my DS1 will be keeping all his fasts so I'll do something special for Iftaar & Suhoor.
I'll probably add a different finger starter to our usual Iftaar of dates, fruit salad, water e.g samosa's, spring-rolls, pasties, chicken satay, chicken sweetcorn soup. DS is also going through a mango lassi phase, so I'll prob add this to our iftaar.
This is followed by our main meal which is no different to what we eat at the moment. We usually decide on the day what we feel like eating; biryani, haleem, roast chicken, baked fish with roasted potatoes, chicken & mushroom pie....anything goes
Also another family tradition when we were younger was to have either fruit trifle & fresh cream bramley apple turnovers as a treat after our Taraweeh prayers ;)
Suhoor is always very simple with porridge/cereal or eggs and toast with plain lassi ( or laban) and tea ;)
There's a few facebook pages if you're looking for new ideas; my favourite it Fauzias Kitchen Fun

Hope that helps?
Ramadan Kareem :)
Dates and water followed by a variety of dishes:
Biryani, salouna and rice, baked fish, Mandy rice, baked mutton, baked chicken, fresh roti and steamed rice all with salads and various side dishes.
As Sakhifa says, anything goes - I think we tend to make a bigger effort on a daily basis during Ramadan, I do, anyway. I do try to make extra so that I have something substantial to heat up for Suhour along with eggs, Partha and tea. I sometimes add porridge with date syrup in the mornings too - it give long lasting energy.
burgers, spaghetti, sandwiches, cereal, steak, grilled chicken, pancake "breakfast"..........
There are no rules for what you eat in Ramadan :) Any menu will do.
