Hi everyone,
I'm just re-establishing myself here in Dubai (after twenty years here then a couple of years away) and am weighing up the options for cleaning / household help. I like the idea of a live-in and have the space to accommodate someone, but I'm reluctant to go down the path of sponsorship. I saw a sign yesterday for "maids.cc" who do all that for you, for a fee, and the maid stays under their contract. A little more expensive than hiring direct but potentially much easier.
I just wondered if anyone has any experience with them?
Many thanks!
Paula

Maids.cc really stands out from other agencies by offering a transparent and cost-effective solution for hiring domestic help. Compared to other agencies that may require upfront deposits and security cheques, they simplify the process and allows for flexible cancellations. I have used their monthly services to hire a nanny and found their flexibility to be a key advantage. I made use of the option to replace maids twice, and on both occasions, I was impressed by the responsive and helpful support provided by Maids.cc. This flexibility was a significant benefit for my family's needs. After 7 months, Once we felt confident about the nanny we had chosen, I decided to transition to a long-term contract. Maids.cc facilitated the entire process, including obtaining a 2-year visa for our nanny. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by a cost reduction when I switched to the long-term contract. What's noteworthy is Maids.cc's professional and transparent approach, which adheres to UAE Labor Law. Their contracts are fully compliant with government regulations, ensuring that both employers and maids have their rights protected. Maids.cc really offers a practical and legal solution for hiring domestic help, making it a service worth considering for those in need of such assistance.

Amazing quick service! We got our maid sent over the next day after we selected her and she fits our family perfectly! No hassle with visas or any paperwork whatsoever, the perfect solution if you’re in a hurry and need a helper urgently.

The whole experience was a breeze. I was contacted by another agency when I was looking to hire a maid and I am happy I went with Maids.cc They are not only very responsive but also reliable - the whole process took the exact time that I was told! no hidden fees and frequent communication with the client. I recommend maids.cc

We decided to hire our nanny via Maid.cc and we are totally satisfied. First satisfied with our maid who is doing a great job. Our kids love her and she taking good care of them. This was obviously our major expectation and we are 100% relieved. Maid.cc is also well organized. Really good communication via Whattsapp or call and always available! They helped us a lot and we feel that we chose the right company to answer our needs.

We've been with maids.cc for a while now. They really made the process easy. I was able to apply through their website and got notified about every step of my maid's visa. Even after getting the visa stamped and delivered, I was able to get all of my maid's info and track her salary withdrawal from my account

This organisation is totally dishonest, fraud, deceitful, and untrustworthy. It does not deserve even a single star since they do not have any ethics. They are misleading customers and do not have a grievance / complaints department to look into any complaints by the consumer. I hired a maid through Maids.cc in the last week of January ’21. They charged me on a pro rata basis for last 7 days of the month. They then charged me again on the 1st of February for the entire month of February. I was not satisfied with the quality and service of the maid that they provided and hence, decided to end the contract. Once, I asked them to end the contract, they told me that I will still be charged for the remaining days of February. To this, I objected because on their website, it is clearly mentioned (link : https://www.maids.cc/faq?mpanel=1778bde37d83c1-0859945fc720c3-48193201-fa000-1778bde37d93f0) “What if I need to cancel my contract early? You can cancel the contract at any time and for whatever reason and all subsequent payments will be refunded.” 1. It says that I can cancel the contract at any time and for whatever reason 2. All subsequent payments will be refunded It clearly implies that at the moment I cancel my contract all subsequent payments will be refunded. So, if I canceled my contract on 10th February, all subsequent payments for the month of February that I have already made in advance must be refunded. However, they blatantly refused to entertain my claim. They told me that it means that if I am charged in subsequent months, my payment will be refunded. It clearly shows that their intention is not correct. They have chosen the wordings on their website to mislead the customers and fool them into believing that the contract can be cancelled anytime and the payment will be refunded. When I spoke to the customer service executive on whatsapp, he said it is written on your invoice that there will be no partial refund. Now, I then opened to check the invoice, it is written, “No partial month refund for any reason”. This again is not clear English and misleading. Also, while taking the service this invoice was not available and I booked the service based on what was written on the website. I requested the customer service executive to connect me to any concerned person who looks into customer grievance / complaints, he informed me that there is no such department. I was really surprised, this organisation claims to be one of the best in the UAE and it doesn’t have a system of grievance redressal. I clearly remember when I had spoken to their customer executive on call before availing the services, they said the best thing about this service is that the contract can be cancelled at any time and full refunds will be given. My experience with Maid.cc has been horrible and I will not recommend this organisation to anyone for the following reason : 1. It seems that they have an intention to cheat their customers 2. They have misleading information 3. They do not have a process into look into customer complaints 4. They are not cooperative Kind regards, Mehvash

Hi all, from experience I do not recommend using maids.cc. I submitted an application on a Tuesday evening and on Wednesday morning I asked to cancel my application. They claimed I signed a contract (although they are unable to provide me with a copy) and are now trying to charge me aed4350 to cancel. They have set up a direct debit based on a signature I provided as part of the application which my bank won’t let me cancel. Maids.cc are an absolute nightmare, check the other negative reviews on google
