I've been working with French Family of 5 ( ages 15, 6, 4, and parents) for 7 months now. We are living in a three-storey house. My delimma is not just the very long working hours ( 15-16 hours a day) but also the stress and pressure the mother is giving me, the food because I'm not allowed to cook smelly food ( I cooked rice and they found it smelly - the mother kept on shouting at me for as long as she could still smell my food, so I don't know what kind of food I should prepare for myself that won't get to their noses), my day off is supposed to be 1 day which should be 24 hours but I still wake up early on my off to prepare their breakfast, wake up the kids @ 8am without making noise as their parents are still sleeping until 9 or sometimes 10 am, and clean the table and run the dishwasher after their breakfast at almost 11 am, then I need to be back at night at 9 pm. I only get to sleep for 5 - 6 hours everyday, It'd my lucky day if it goes far to 7 hours. They have my passport which I believe is not stipulated in the law governing domestic servants to hold employees passports. These are just some that have taken a toll on me. I couldn't take it anymore. I want to quit but I'm thinking they might ban me, so I'm having a thought of finishing a year out of my 2-year contract. But, would I still be banned and would they ask me to repay them for all the expenses they spent for my visa and for taking me from Philippines? Would I be deported for breaching my 2-year contract?

An advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.
