Hi

I am an Indian expat married for eight years. I would like to share my story here, my journey to motherhood and my experience with Dr Seema Parveen , Sharjah.

- [ ] After our first year of marriage my husband was diagnosed with Chronic type of blood and bone marrow disorder. We consulted an oncologist in India he made us understand about the disease. My husband was told not to father a child naturally while on oncology medicine that it may cause some serious side effects on baby .Before starting his treatments the oncologist referred us to a gynec in the same hospital and was advised for semen freeze for future use . When my husband was getting good prognosis in treatment, the Oncologist suggested for a baby after two years of his treatment. Thus we went to that gynec and then followed her instructions blindly. She first took my eggs and opted an ICCI and the rest of the embryos were also frozen for future use . The result was positive but it was a multiple high risk pregnancy. We took it as God’s gift and wanted the babies and moved on happily waiting for their arrival. Sadly in the second trimester one of the babies cord prolapsed , pprom and lead to complications. Hospitalised with high infection and an emergency encerclage done as an experiment to save other babies and myself .But it only made condition more worse and life threatening, finally the babies were expelled to save the mother . We came home empty handed. Hearts are heavy while thinking about those days . Again after an year we were referred to the same gynec and she did an FET with our remaining frozen embryos and it was also positive . It was a single pregnancy. We were hopeful and waited paitiently. But the cruel fate again befallen us and baby was delivered in the 6 months of pregnancy due to unexplained recurrent contractions . It was said that after the first risky delivery caused a weak cervix. My incompetent cervix was to be cerclaged then in the first trimester. But sadly the second time too that Dr couldn’t take much care on it . And we suffered again a painful loss . The recurrent baby loss made us hopeless , heartbroken and shattered.
- [ ] Meanwhile we came to know that my husband can father a child naturally while on medicine . The new statement from oncology was hopeful for us . But sadly his count became low due to regular use of oncology medicine for seven years so we planned an IUI as a last attempt . We decided to choose a good Dr from Sharjah . I searched in google and everywhere . Finally we met with Dr Seema Parveen . I can not describe in one word . We are thankful to the Dr . I rang her and she was very kind to me . She patiently listened our case and gave us an appointment. She is very pleasant and gave us hope and support in the first consultation itself . She had gone through my past reports and opted for an IUI . She gave proper treatment and care . The result was positive . Her charges were also affordable compared to other clinics . After referring to another hospital for pregnancy care and delivery , she gave me all guidance and enquirered about my well being.
- [ ] I still keep in touch with the Dr . I must say she is a very good Dr . I haven’t seen such a down to earth Dr , so much God fearing and her prayers were with us in our journey to parenthood. I never feel a space between myself and Dr . She was that much friendly towards us and a very dedicated Dr . I didn’t feel it was only a money making business doing unnecessary tests and trials with patients .
- [ ] By God’s grace , we got a good Dr like her and now we are blessed with a healthy baby . I definitely recommend Dr Seema Parveen , Shanti Medical Center, Sharjah to others too who are eagerly wanting a baby . I assure you that the couple will get a positive good vibe and support after meeting this Dr . The clinic is also having some privacy and provides a peaceful atmosphere.
