Pls give me some recommendations on which baby walker to go for. I have twin boys 9 months old. One has strong legs and can stand in his feat when I hold by his hands. The other one is very mobile on his tummy however cannot stand on his feet even when u support him. He just wouldn't keep his feet on the ground. His knees are strong however I believe. He rocks on them all the time.

Will it be good to use walker for both my babies? What do you think?

As for as according to my experience, I have used joovy spoon and chicco walky talky and believe me joovy spoon is the best baby walker you can get in market. Because its durable and it is height adjustable. However my experience with chicco walky talky wasn't good enough. For your own assurance you can read reviews about them https://ibestbabyswing.com/best-baby-walkers/. I have no idea about other walkers, as I have used only these 2 walkers and in my experience joovy spoon walker is a good option.

I have also read the walkers that they sit in are not good, I did buy a wooden small stand up giraffe walker for my twins that they can push around from mumzworld for 200dhs, the reviews are fantastic so hoping that they will like it, I live in an apt so don't have to worry about stairs though.. Mb

Hi little_zuzu, I'm afraid I have to agree with the majority of the posters on this topic. Babywalkers won't help your baby learn to walk. According to many studies around the world, using one too much may even delay development slightly. Your baby needs to spend time to learn to roll, crawl, sit and to play on the floor, in order to reach developmental milestones. When a baby crawls and pulls himself up while holding on to furniture he is strengthening the muscles needed for walking, and learning about balance and building confidence. I worked for many years alongside Paediatric Physiotherapists and they would strongly advise parents to let their children have plenty of floor play and to not use a babywalker.

sitting walkers are not good for babies ergonomically. and even with the standing walkers they take longer time to maintain their balance. let them play without that.bring a low level activity bench which will attract them to stand and play. babies develop at a different pace. don't worry. just keep on doing massage which will benefit them. i was worried too as my baby wasn't interested in crawling at all. suddenly at 9.5 months he started cruising and crawling together and within 15 days started walking. he is 11 months old now.i have one vtech walker (gift) which i have started giving him now when he can walk. he mostly sits and plays with it. i do not let him take the walker and run.

do not use walker, you might make his development to slow down, I mean he the coordination of his body.Let your LO to explore and play on the floor, he will catch up with his brother soon.If you are still concerned you might want to see physiotherapist or even pediatrician. The walker its not good option because you might force your baby for sth what he is not ready yet, despite that they are very happy using the walker. * sorry for messy English

Don't get the walker they sit in, it's not good for them as much as they might enjoy it. The kind that they push along is fine although choose one with a sturdy heavy base. The best thing you can do is let your babies have lots of floor time.

Hi We have a babylo walker from Toys R Us in Festival City, was on sale last year. One of the best things we have bought. DS can stand, hold onto the table and hands, with a few tiny steps. He loves the walker most of the time, it has also saved my sanity! DS just wants to stand a lot of the time now. We have removed most items that he can get hold of, esp as he crawls so fast! We are have the walker on the ground floor, had no problems with him or ds in it. Just make sure you baby proof!! DS is very destructive, shoes come of the rack, books on lower shelves are taken off. I just keep an eye on him, and touch wood he's fine. Hope this helps

Pls give me some recommendations on which baby walker to go for. None. Walkers are a huge safety risk and are banned in some countries (I've read Canada doesn't allow them). First, there are stairs. If you live on a single level, there's always the risk baby can bump into a table/cabinet, etc and have things fall on them. They are also not good for hip/leg development. Baby's naturally develop the ability to walk through crawling and cruising, not through things like walkers and jumpers. Skip the walker. They will be much safer and develop appropriately.
