Hello Everyone, I'm in my 6th week of pregnancy and visiting a near by clinic. My husband & I are aware we need to move to a hospital to continue for the next two trimesters and delivery with the same gynaecologist.

We have been reading online as we cannot inform our friends till the end of the 1st trimester. The online reading led us to few hospitals and doctors and we loved City Hospital so far as it is close to home and work. Further, Dr Purnima Deb was recommended to us through a source.

Please advice us if you have tried or currently trying Dr. Purnima Deb and what is your opinion on her?

Hi, I get where you are coming from and agree with you completely. There is nothing wrong with her being the way she is, however it did not work for me. Further, I would not recommend her for first...
Skin tags are also a common side effect of pregnancy. This may be due to pregnancy hormones and weight gain. In rare cases, multiple skin tags can be a sign of a hormone imbalance or an endocrine problem. Skin tags aren’t contagious. There may be a genetic connection. It isn’t unusual for multiple family members to have them.

Hi, I get where you are coming from and agree with you completely. There is nothing wrong with her being the way she is, however it did not work for me. Further, I would not recommend her for first time mothers as it was already very overwhelming and mentally stressful knowing I'm handling another life now, I thought going to her would clarify my thoughts, but she left me more tense that I was. She is unbelievable with emergencies and City Hospital was a dream hospital!

Hi, I recently was treated and monitored by Dr. Deb. People are different, obviously. If it's an emergency- she is an experienced doctor. However, if you are looking for a doctor who will share their knowledge with you, answer your questions, discuss with you possible options, treat you like a customer and not an inconvenience, I would not recommend her. If you are with her, make sure to do your research, because she will not enlighten you. You will need to fish out for information and hopefully, she will be in a good mood to answer and not get offended by your questions. I would definitely avoid her in the future. During this experience you need a doctor who is professional, at least, and not a person who has no interpersonal skills.

HI I went to Dr Deb 3 years back and could not have made a worse mistake. I had a 12 hour labour and i was very upset throughout because it was 3 weeks early and my husband was travelling. However, 2 days later when i went to her she had zero recollection of even delivering my baby. Also the morning after I had my baby ( delivered at 2 am) she came in my room at 10 n said ur still sleeping . look im alredy up. i mean seriously? She also never remebered me during appointments so i was kind of uncomfrotable with how she would be but the city hospital midwives were a dream!!!!
