If you’re a social media frenzy and you’ve already run out of places in the UAE to snap some cool pictures for your feed…
Then don’t go into panic mode just yet. We’ve put together a list of spots around the UAE where you can get THE best picture without ever leaving the country.
Most of the residents in the UAE don’t even know that some of these exist, so it’ll give you some upper hand in your social media game.
If you’re not really into your picture posts, these locations are still great to explore and plan a little adventure in the UAE anyway.
While some are further away and require some planning, others are closer to you than you might think. And you might just kick yourself for not finding about these picture perfect spots earlier…
So let’s ask you this when’s the next road trip?
1. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, Dubai
Snap the perfect picture of beautiful flocks of flamingos in Dubai and make your friends jealous.
Just a few minutes from Dubai Mall, you’ll find more than 20,000 birds from 67 species at the sanctuary.
2. Iranian Mosque, Satwa Dubai
We’re just jaw smacked at this gorgeous mosque being tucked away in Bur Dubai without even knowing about it.
Located near the textile souk, this mosque will take you back in history and provide some historical context to your friends about the region.
3. Al Ain Oasis, Al Ain
A gorgeous retreat in Al Ain, this was the UAE’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
Dating back to more than 4,000 years, it’s the best location to relax and ‘gram around the 3,000 acres spot.
4. Al Wathba Wetland Reserve, Abu Dhabi
This wetland reserve is only a 45 minute drive from Abu Dhabi has as a large animal reserve.
It was first opened in 1998 as a bird breeding reserve and is now a hotspot attraction for the flamingos, which are a social media hit.
5. Dubai Ladies Beach Club, Dubai
While this one might only be accessible for the ladies, it’s a great place to get your picture posts in the facility.
Resembling the Maldives, this ocean swing is a picture perfect location and you’ll never guess that it’s in Jumeirah.
6. Stairway to Heaven, RAK
This one might require you to do a little hiking, but it’s absolutely stunning from the top.
Near the Oman border, these mountains are 1,900 metres high and will give you views for days.
