Dubai Frame Breaks World Record

You already knew the Dubai Frame is HUGE, right? But now, it's record-breaking.

That's right; to add to the already very long list of world records that Dubai holds - including the weird and wonderful ones - the Dubai Frame has secured another world record title for the list.

It's one of the emirate's newest additions to the skyline, opening to the public back in January 2018. And now, it has bagged the title of the world's 'largest building in the shape of a picture frame' by the Guinness World Records.

Standing at 150 meters high and 93 meters wide, the world's largest frame is made-up of 2,000 tons of steel and 2,900 square meters of laminated glass. It also boasts 15,000 square meters of gold stainless steel - which gives the attraction it's perfectly polished finished.

Construction started in 2013, and the Dubai Frame opened on January 1st, 2018 - however, the Guinness World Records has only just verified the unique structure's claim to be the world's largest of its kind.
