If you were planning on lounging around by the beach this weekend

Then we’ve got some bad news for you…

The National Center of Meteorology posted on Twitter the expected weather update of this weekend in the UAE.

As the clouds start to roll in on Wednesday, rainfall and more cloudiness are expected to start on Friday and last till Sunday.

The drop in weather temperatures is due to low pressures coming to the UAE from the South East, which will start from the Oman Sea and continue along the Arabian Gulf.

UAE Residents awoke on Wednesday to cloudy weather conditions and cold temperatures and the weather is expected to resume like this till the end of the day.

Temperatures of 20-22 C were recorded on Wednesday morning and will start to increase to 25 C during the day.

And for those who live in the Sweihan or Al Dhafra region in the UAE, visibility in the areas is expected to decrease to 1,000 – 3,000 metres due to fog formation.

Residents in the UAE seem to be loving the cloudiness on Wednesday, many are taking to Twitter to show their love for this winter weather.
