While the Dubai Safari Park may not yet be 100% complete - as the Asian Village is due to open, and the official opening ceremony is yet to take place - it's already quickly become a new favourite spot for Dubai residents to visit.

This new addition to Dubai's long list of tourist attractions has been eagerly awaited, and since early December, members of the public have been able to visit.

With over 2500 animals, spanning over 250 species, four parks - including an Open Safari village - the UAE's first drive-thru hippo, tiger and crocodile exhibits, plus the UAE's first zoo-keeping course... It's no surprise that this tourist attraction in Dubai welcomed thousands of people through the doors after its soft opening.

If you haven't yet had the chance to visit, here are some pictures shared by Dubai residents and visitors to help persuade you to go during your next available weekend.
