Finding peace in a frantic world is a 6 week programme, based on the best-selling book.
Using the techniques of Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), it is designed for busy people struggling to keep up with all the demands of the modern world. This is an excellent introduction to mindfulness meditation practices which have been scientifically proven to help people deal more effectively with stress and anxiety.
The training will help you appreciate each moment of your day and so improve the quality and enjoyment of your life.
- Instruction in mindfulness meditation practices in a non- religious context
- Group discussions and activities enhancing everyday awareness and quality of life
- Strategies to deal with the daily challenges of stress and anxiety
- Gentle stretching and mindful movement
Time: Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Dates: April: 16th; 23rd; 30th; May: 7th; 14th; 21st.

About the Facilitator - Martine Nates:
Martine has been practicing mindfulness meditation for over 20 years. She is fully certified to teach the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program by Bangor University(UK). She completed her training to teach the Peace in a Frantic World Course at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
She is a well-respected Acupuncturist with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in stress-related conditions, pain, addiction, fertility and pregnancy. She has been working and living in Dubai for the past 11 years with her husband and 2 daughters.
