Women's health check-ups should primarily focus on the areas that show the most common health risks facing women, such as:

  • Cervical, ovarian and breast cancers
  • Other gynecological issues

Women often also suffer from the effects of living in chronic stress: sleep disorders, migraines, and depression. And while no preventive examinations can prevent sleep or mental disorders, the overall health condition of one’s body has an impact on the mind. Preventive care and your Dubai health insurance

Preventive health check-ups are part of your private health insurance, and those services are marketed as a wellness benefit.

Most international health insurance plans cover specific preventive checkups such as yearly physicals, and in the case of women also OB/GYN visits.

But even though promotions for private health insurance and disease prevention are prevalent in Dubai, many of the private health insurance plans lack the robust benefits their company-sponsored counterparts can offer.

Before attending any of the mentioned preventive tests, contact your insurance provider, or a broker to confirm whether your insurance covers these costs.

And if you would like to make sure that your future medical plan includes all of the recommended women’s check-ups, contact the helpful team of insurance advisors from Pacific Prime Dubai to get free quotes, plan comparisons, and health insurance advice today!
