FREE Parking For UAE National Day In Dubai

Good news to all motorists in the UAE

You can park anywhere you wish on the UAE National Day and not pay a dirham.

For the celebration of the 47th National Day of the UAE, RTA announced that all paid parking zones will be free during the holiday.

On December 2 and December 3, UAE residents will not have to worry about paying the parking meter or getting fined for not doing so.

Parking fees will resume as normal on December 4.

RTA also announced the timings for public transportation in Dubai, and it goes as follows:

Red Metro Line

  • Friday – from 10 am to 1 am
  • Saturday, Sunday– from 5 am to 1 am
  • Monday – from 5 am to 12 midnight

Green Metro Line

  • Friday - from 10 am to 1 am
  • Saturday, Sunday – from 5:30 am to 1 am
  • Monday – 5:30 am to 12 midnight

The Dubai Tram

  • Friday – 9 am to 1 am
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 6 am to 1 am

Public Buses in Dubai

  • Gold Souq Station – 4:25 am to 12:29 am
  • Al Ghubaiba Station – 4:14 am to 12:33 am
  • Satwa Station – 5 am to 11 pm
  • Al Qusais Bus Station – 5 am to 11:45 pm
  • Al Quoz Industrial Station – 5 am to 11:35 pm
  • Jebel Ali Station – 5 am to 11:30 pm
