Residents in Dubai will enjoy free parking in Dubai on Sunday

It was announced on Tuesday that residents in Dubai will enjoy free parking across the city to mark the Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) birthday.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority announced that all paid public parking in Dubai will be free, with exception to multi-level parking and terminals.

Residents must continue paying to use public parking from Monday, November 19.

Dubai Metro

For those who use the Dubai Metro in Dubai, you can expect services to continue running as normal, without any changes or abruptions during the public holiday on Sunday.

Public service timings

And for those who are planning to use public services on Sunday, here are the timings to consider:

  • Gold souq bus station – 4:25 am to 12:29 midnight
  • Ghubaiba bus station – 4:14 am to 12:33 midnight
  • Satwa bus station – 5 am to 11 pm
  • Bus route C01 – 24 hours
  • Al Ghusais bus station – 5 am to 11:35pm
  • Jebel Ali bus station – 5 am to 11:30 pm

For transportation through water services in Dubai:

  • Marina water bus station – 12 pm to 12 am
  • Marina water taxi – 9 am to 10 pm
  • Dubai ferry at Al Ghubaiba, Dubai Marina – 11 am, 1 pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6pm
  • Dubai ferry at Al Jaddaf station, Dubai water canal station – 12 pm, 5:30 pm
  • Dubai abra at Dubai Creek – 10 am to 12 midnight
  • Dubai abra at Sheikh Zayed Road – 4 pm to 10 pm
  • Electric abra at Burj Khalifa – 6 pm to 11 pm
  • Electric abra at Al Mamzar – 2 pm to 12 midnight
  • Electric abra at Dubai mall – 12 pm to 11:30 pm
