The Emirates NBD Unity Run is the leading community event in the UAE, supporting people of determination and promoting the cause of inclusiveness in all areas of society. It actively supports Al Noor Training Centre for People of Determination, Senses Residential and Day Care Centre and Red Crescent.
The Emirates NBD Unity Run is held under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Protection of the Rights of People of Determination, and organised under the umbrella of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Community Sports Initiative.
- Participants can enter a 3 km fun run/walk or the un-timed 10km.
- People of Determination and their ‘buddies’ are encouraged to participate may do so free of charge.
- Emirates NBD is also offering a special 2 for 1 promotion, that is, buy one entry get one free.
The event also includes the Unity Village, a festive fun zone for the whole family, including entertainment, arts and crafts, activities for kids and food vendors. It’s a great day out and promotes a good cause.
The Emirates NBD Unity Run supports the ‘My Community’ initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council that aims to transform Dubai to a people of determination friendly city by 2020.
