Review: M's Grill at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre
A sizzling Dubai steakhouse with the best cuts in town
2 May 2018
One of my absolute favorite things about Fridays is dining out, whether it’s a brunch, lunch or dinner, my weekend is made by good food and the perfect ambience to go with it. So when we visited M’s Grill at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre for Friday lunch, we had high expectations –but we were not disappointed!
When you first enter M’s Grill, you’re struck by the authenticity of the ambience. Everything from the decor to the cutlery screams “This place is for serious meat-lovers!” If you’re unsure what to order, you can’t go wrong with asking the friendly staff for their recommendations.
M’s Grill promises you the best cuts in town, and that’s exactly what you get –but, there’s more to the menu than the delicious meat. We started with Mozzarella ‘Burrata’ –which almost filled me up as I couldn’t stop eating the fresh and creamy appetizer.
Next, we sampled Baked Fresh Scallops, which were presented beautifully and cooked to perfection, as well as the Duck Liver Terrine. Recommended from the Chef’s Special Menu was the Amuse-Bouche which included the most a delicious fish butter that we’re still talking about –I just can’t forget that taste!
Then it was time for the ultimate test of any grill; the steak! We went with two different steaks, wagyu tenderloin and rib-eye. The knife eased through the melt-in-your-mouth cuts, which were cooked exactly how we like them. The steaks were definitely the show-stopping main course we’d been waiting for.
Every steak is served with a generous portion of sides (everything from mushroom risotto to the unbeatable buttered corn), of which you can pick four. Not only did the meats come cooked with perfect precision (we tried two different grades: medium-well, well-done), but the surprise superstar of the meal were the delectable, made-from-scratch sauces served along with the meat. The creamy mushroom sauce is a must-try!
Try and save some room for dessert –because the caramelized vanilla Crème Brulee was insanely good. We also couldn’t resist the silky-smooth Chocolate Soufflé.
The restaurant offered a relaxed atmosphere for a Friday lunch, as we were not rushed or uncomfortable at any point. The staff were always on hand for our every need and chef also checked that customers were satisfied. I did try to get that fish butter recipe out of him, but maybe next time!
Besides the fancy high-end indoor seating area, the restaurant also features an outdoor, French-looking seating area, which definitely added to the whole experience of M’s Grill authenticity and delicious menu. Look no further for your next Dubai restaurant to try…
