We are doing well! Can't believe its already been 3 months! Little one came early and ended up being born end of march. Still not sleeping through the night but wakes up, eats, and straight back to sleep so its not too bad. He is doing 7-12.30 then wakes again at 4.45 and 6.30. How many of you are staying in Dubai over summer? Hows everyone else doing?

Congrats to priti99 and coffeegal! Lovely news! I thankfully have my mum still here, she has been fantasic as my little man I think is colicy. She's been getting DS1 in the mornings when he wakes and keeping him fed and occupied as I deal with the crying, winding and sometimes I get some sleep in between. I feel so sorry for DS1 he is missing me and I'm missing him. When DS2 and I surface mum takes him and I spend time with DS1 if DS2 calms down and doesn't want to feed again. I'm finding feeding is the only thing that calms him down but 10-20 mins after his is pulling legs up screeching yet again with wind pain and it goes on allllllll day (for past few days especially). I've cut out dairy (not that I ate much other than chocolate) Im taking fennel tea hoping it helps to settle his belly if some goes through milk... And we have an osteo/chiro appointment Wednesday. Not sure where else to go/what to do to help the poor little guy. Warm bath helps a bit, legs cycle not so much, massage a little helps too. Currently averaging 2-4 hrs of sleep on good nights. :( blah! Hope everyone else is doing alright.xox

CoffeeGal, I am glad you are home and are enjoying being a mom! We'll definately have to catch up soon. Things are very hectic around here but hopefully we'll get some sort of routine worked out soon. I'm so happy DH is off work to help out - I don't know exactly how I'll manage once he goes back to work. Our apartment looks like a bomb hit and I must say I'm not being the best mom to the older two. Meal times are a real challenge! I'm just trying to prioritize and not worry too much about the cleaning, etc at this point. Baby is so good though - I love having a baby girl, she is so sweet and snuggly! I can't wait to meet your little guy!!

I've also popped! I just got home yesterday, my little boy was delivered on his due date of April 5th. I went to bed on the night of the 4th and my water broke and off we went to the hospital. In the afternoon of the 5th my baby boy made his arrival, delivered by the wonderful Dr. Elsa. I had a great stay at City Hospital, the staff were fantastic and got me all sorted for BFing, everything exceeded my expectations and I feel like I'm on a high of happy motherhood hormones at the moment. Congrats CABear, she's beautiful and I'm so happy that you got your little girl to round out your wonderful family. We've got to catch up on the phone again now that I'm home. I know things are hectic for me with my first baby so I can't imagine how it is for you. Please let me know if you need anything, I'm just down the street and my parents will be here at the end of the week so they can always lend a hand to pick up things etc if you need, or my DH.

Awww congrats CABear! Beautiful! Enjoy the time getting to know you DD. Hope her big bro's are smitten? Check out due march 2012 thread for a bit of info on bf'ing if you need. Some of the ladies on there (including me) had difficulties at start, there is some info in thread that may help or potentially if you want go make appointment with Dr Delphine in motor city medicntre. Looking fwd to more stories soon!

Happy april to all the april mommies. now finally we have ventured into the month. yesterday went for my weekly visit. although the amniotic fluid was litttle less than the normal range but dr Andrea wasn't bothered by that. i have crossed my fingers as my DH would be back by tommorrow. poor guy :) use to say daily to my tummy that he'll be back in 2 days please don't come out in that time. :) and as per doc bubba will still take time to come out. and here i am waiting hour by hour of the day :) all the best to everybody with their waiting.

Happy April 1st to all the April mommies! Looks like most of us made it and now the real countdown begins! I had my doctor's appointment last week but nothing new to report so just hanging in there and hoping that every little cramp I feel is the "this is it!" moment. I'm also still hoping for a natural birth as possible so hoping that things get started on their own this week. I've tried eating the spicy curry, drinking raspberry leaf tea (which made me throw up) and yes AussiePup, even doing the deed. Nothing so far.

Awww sorry to hear the babies seem to be staying put a little while longer :( it may be for the best though as DS born 37w 5 days, my lactation consultant and doctor said the troubles I'm experiencing with his feeding (won't latch to me) may be due to his sucking reflexes not as strong as they could be if he had cooked a bit longer. Dunno how much truth is in that... Prob a bit I would think. I only just got hair etc done in time too! He he.

Im with you on that coffeegal, I don't wanna wait too long as I'll get more scared!! That's how dr elsa was with me 2 weeks ago, so when I went today and being told she won't be early , I felt a little sad!! Oh well she'll come when she is ready!! I got my hair and nails done last week! Want to look semi decent for photos! Lol

Congrats CitronKB, I'm glad that you didn't have to induce as apparently that makes the contractions more painful. Priti99, Dr. Elsa keeps telling me that my baby will be coming any day now and she didn't even think we would make it through the weekend and here I am on Monday still waiting - sigh. I'm 1cm dilated but this baby seems to have his own plan. I'm ready and want things to start before I get too scared :-) The more time I have to wait the more I keep thinking about the birth. I got my hair done today though so I should be set for the next couple of months until I can leave the baby for long enough to go in again.

Aussiepup, just back from seeing dr elsa, it seems baby isn't gonna be early after all, as she hasn't moved from 2 weeks ago! I'm getting really tired now :(

Congrats AussiePup! I can't believe that you were driving and didn't even feel a thing! Sounds like a smooth delivery, I'm so happy for you. I just came from seeing Dr. Elsa and she said I'm 1cm dialated :-) Hopefully not too much longer now. My cold is still hanging on a bit with congestion and a bad/annoying cough. Hopefully in the next couple of days it dries up before baby comes. Priti99, maybe we'll be at City Hospital delivering at the same time? :-)

Hi all, well as we thought DS2 came early march 18th. We are home now. I posted on due march thread the other day. For those who didn't read it, I got to hospital for check up 37w 5 days withe dr Elsa, got up on the table for her to check how things were going... And well went straight to labour ward! Lol. I was near 4cm dilated and had no idea. DH and I spent the car drive there (I was driving!) discussing if all things are ready should I have the sweep... Decision was no, we'd come ba ck Wednesday (today) for it. Ha ha ha! When dr Elsa said we may as well do it coz I was 4cm I cried! Lol so wasn't ready for that. But all done now and I spent mothers day home with all my boys DS1 DS2 DH and the 2 male dogs! Labour was fantastic just got in with an epidural this time. Phew! Got to giggle DS2 out ... Literally as I had some nasty varicose veins dr didn't want to give me episiotomy so had to do it gently so a little giggle was what helped him out with last contraction, I got to see dr Elsa catch him and feel his head when he crowned, it was so lovely! Also had a beautiful new midwife Donne, she was just wonderful and so supportive. Wishing you all the very best for your births. Look fwd to reading the lovely news. Xox
