@Pia, no I didnt, whilst lots of things looked great, there were a few things that didnt cut it @nbm, Wonder Years is the correct name for the nursery in Sports city, Little Wonders is in Jum, think there was some confusion on the name hence the misleading title of the thread... nbm - we are also in AR, and havent found a good solution, we commute to a nursery in Umm suqueim - blossom village. if you're asking about BV re class sizes, they are not large and well staffed! not sure about the original blossom

Hi, does anybody have any information on Little Wonders in Dubai Sports City? Also does anybody know of a nursery where we can pay term by term near Arabian Ranches who will accept 4 year olds? One more question. Has anybody heard if the classes at Blossom are still as large for 2 year olds? I did hear that they had a change in management. thankyou.

Hi! Did any of you ladies end up putting your child at the Wonder Years at Dubai Sports City? Can you please share feedback on the nursery? Many thanks!

Twokids - I went to have a look as well. I think it will be a nice facility, but there are a couple of things that spring to mind, apart from the lack of resources they currently have (they have told me there are a lot of things on order still yet to arrive). On the plus side i think its well designed, staff seem good and class sizes small with good ratios. Downside for me is no food provided, and not even a good facility to heat anything that you would provide, second is the lack of a designated sleep area. I was told they would have mats that they would roll out as and when sleep was needed. For the younger kids, I am a firm believer in that they need a good day sleep of 2-3 hrs, waiting till 2pm to go home and sleep properly is a bit late for the young ones, and if they stay a full day then even harder. I would also be worried as to how many do full days/full year, my experience so far is that in the AR area, most children are only part time....i wouldnt want mine to be the only ones there!!

Did anyone else go to the open days? I did. I was very impressed by the FS1 teacher. Small classes of 12. Timings 8am - 2pm. It did seem a little empty/light on facilities though, compared to Blossom Village and Little Scholars (only other nurseries I have visited). I forgot to ask about a sleeping area. Youngest age accepted is 18 months. What was your impression?

QW - I found the nursery tonight! As you approach VH from Motor City, take the first left after the bridge. If you miss it you will be in VH. Travel about 100m down the road and you will see a purpose built nursery on the left. I can't believe I never knew it was there/being built! Please let me know if you gather anymore information. I will try and contact then too:) Thanks very much Two kids for directions... will contact them and visit the place!!!

when driving towards the ICC building you look across/behind the Canal Residence, there seems to be a single level stand alone building which has shade sails - I wonder if this is where it is.

I'm not Lynn, that is the contact. I have not seen anything that looks like a nursery nearby, and I live in VH!

I think it is in/behind the Canal Residence - not sure if it is open yet. I heard it was a purpose built building that was going through it's snagging/signoff over the summer break. HTH.

Hi queenswonders - I did my antenatal classes at little wonders in Jumierah and was not impressed at all..I do not have their number but just FYI - there was food like rice stored in the toilets together with cleaning materials - not sure i would consider it for my child Hi RDW, I guess little wonders at Jumeirah is a different one... This is a new one at Dubai Sports city.
