I went to mothercare at Deira city centre today and asked them about bugaboo. they said its available and is in the warehouse (both chameleon and bee+ ) and they can deliever in 3-4 working days. i asked the salesperson twice just to confirm. you can call them up and ask again.(i did forgot to ask if the colours are available :) )

Ok, my things arrived to today. I bought the Bee with the dark purple shade and OMG, it is GORGEOUS!!!! I bought the liner too but can't figure out how to put it on. Says compatible with Bee and Donkey and Chameleon, but does not say Bee+. Not sure if I am just too Duh to do it properly! Maybe I should take it to Just Kidding and see if one of the staff could help me....Is that too cheeky? :\: Anyways my customs payment was Dh227 but still worth it! It said on the site that it includes a bag, DC and Liv, did you guys get a bag?

Hi DubaiCat - perhaps you spent more than me on your order and that's why you were charged duty? To be honest, I was expecting a customs bill with my delivery, but was pleasantly surprised when delivery guy said that there were no charges.. so, I naturally didn't question him any further!!! It was just the Bee, so around 2400dhs.

Hi Ladies, My order from babycare arrived today - I spent about 3000 dhs, including shipping and I didn't have any customs charges! I'd definitely recommend it, they deliver really quickly, my order only left Nederlands on Friday...think I might be buying the rest of my stuff from them in future :)

have you ordered dubaicat?? i checked the price for bugaboo chameleon, travel bag, car seat with family fix base with shipping cost coming around to be 6700 dh.hope there are no tax or custom charges. need to place an order next week. Righto, it arrived Thursday (sorry, been in Doha for the weekend). Duty was 211dhs on delivery :). I LOVE it!

I've bought a few things using Aramex Shop & Ship and so far it's been great, but for the Bee+ shipping is cheaper direct from the site shinynewpony mentioned so I'm just going to go ahead and order now. I called Mothercare DCC this morning and they told me they're out of stock and have no idea when they'll have more :\:. Personally, I think for car seats it depends on the seat itself and of course your own preference. If you can clearly see there's no damage anywhere (or you know the seller personally and trust them), then I'd be OK with secondhand, but for an Isofix seat with parts you may not necessarily be able to see I'd go for new. We bought both DS's stage 0 and stage 1 new, and now DD's in his stage 0 but we're having her second seat from my sister as I know it's never been in an accident. The site snp mentioned is tax-free for UAE residents so it might be quite reasonable for a car seat. Or, if you want me to see how much shipping is for both a car seat and my Bee+, we could share :).

Take a look and I'll let you know if I manage to place an order :). do let me know...although i havn't shopped at all from UK or US so no idea how to do it! ;) but what are we internet savvies for. as for the due dats its 25 april and i can manage without one for few days. main requirement right now is car seat ( first baby). is it new or second hand only? because convincing my DH for second hand takes a lot of work :) but i am working on him.

How long till baby arrives? I found myself stroller-less when DD arrived as I'd sold DS's iCandy, didn't have the adaptors for his P&T Smart and Dad wasn't due to arrive with the Vibe for another three weeks! Bless her, she didn't get taken out for ages! I think I've found one on eBay and am just finalising shipping options, but I might just pop along to Mothercare and see what colours they have... :D.
