But is it Primark prices??!! :\: Probably not and i am the only person that finds Primark a jumble sale with rubbish clothing. I have never found anything decent in there apart from a pair of shoes :-( Completely agreed! I have never been able to buy anything from there, seriously don't understand what all the fuss is about.

Gosh sorry I did a search and didnt come up at Ibn Battuta... what I am referring to is Peacocks and I thought they were an affiliation of Primark as their label, range and prices are very similair. This is why I mixed them up :,..... worth a look tho http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2006/jun/14/consumernews.retail

I never used to find anything in their that was worthwhile till I visited the new Marble March store. I bought quite a few things from that branch!

Primark is suing the one in Karama apparently for using their name when it isnt their shop. I am surprised there is one with the same name in Ibn

A friend of mine has met the owner of Dubai's Primark. It isn't the UK primark, however the owner said they are buying their clothes from the same manufacturers as the real Primark so according to him the products will be the same!! What really surprised me was that a real Pound Stretcher is opening here in Dubai. It's in a new mall called "Madinat Mall".

There is a Primark in karama, definitely not the UK one though :) Quite sad to admit but I actually emailed them a few years ago to ask if they had any plans to bring it to Dubai, since anyone and everyone was coming and I love their cheap and cheerful bits and bobs, but they said they had no plans to expand to the Middle East, they were concentrating on UK and the rest of Europe. Boooo :( I just stock up when I am home instead.

sadly you really do get what you pay for lol having said that though, i did used to get children's pj's and other clothes from there - quality varied but mostly wasn't too bad as long as you look out for the usual scratchy labels and thick rough seams you can get with cheap stuff...

ohhh darn... i was really hoping it would be!! why doesn't someone just start the darn franchise here!! i could so use a wardrobe change for under 100 quid! It probably wont be under 100 quid here they will increase all the prices ;-( I never find anything decent in there. It always resembles a jumble sale in our UK store ;-( I bought some tights once, washed them and the elastic had gone in them...

Ive done a quick search on the net and cant find anything official. I would imagine a shop like that would take up a prime spot in one of the Malls, so doubt it is. Please let me know if im wrong though, got a full wardrobe for the baby for about 30 quid in UK.
