Shattering experience with a food processor

On Friday the bowl of my Moulinex Masterchef 8000 food processor shattered...disaster! A large part of one side flew out followed closely by nearly a kg of brown sugar. I use the food processor constantly and also it was the worst timing ever as I was preparing dinner that night for 10 people, sigh....
I've been on the net but I can't find anywhere in Doha that sells the machines. Has anyone seen them or knows where I could buy a replacement bowl as I'd rather not have to buy a new machine. Or should I put it on the list to buy next time I'm back in Dubai?
Thanks so much.

I had few issues when i first started using food processor but know since i brought Hamilton Beach food processor compact food processor and since then no issues. It is working quite good. Its eight-cup work bowl capacity is perfect for everyday use. Pick one according to the need like may be the need is related to capacity so the options will change accordingly. You can check a few quality food processors here https://www.foodprocessorsreview.com/ See the features and analyze your requirements and pick any one.

I have the answer to my own question :-) The local rep for Moulinex is Manni Corp. Spare parts for food processors, mixers etc can be purchased from the service centre on Salwa Road, near the Ramada Junction, next door to Starbucks, Ponderosa, Ma Maison etc. A new bowl for my Masterchef 8000 food processor cost 50 QR. edited by Safiya Dafiya on 30/07/2012

Have you tried Lakeland at City Centre? Lulu also stock some Moulineux appliances so perhaps they could order one for you - a long shot I know.
