Shopping Cart Cover

Lynette, good question...if you figure out the answer, let me know! ;) Seriously though, its not really an easy task but you just have to work your way around it. Here's all the ways I've tried/considered: 1. wear a baby front-carrier so your hands are free to push cart, pay bill, etc. I've never done this but I heard it can be hard picking up things from lower shelves when you're wearing baby. I guess you can ask a nice shopper around you to help with that? 2. Take baby in stroller and place items in buggy underneath the stroller. Personally, I don't feel comfortable doing this but have seen other people do it. 3. Take baby in stroller and pull a small basket with wheels (the ones with the long handles) or carry basket in hand. This is tricky if you are planning to buy a lot or heavy groceries. But for a few small items, its the best way. 4. Put baby in car seat and prop car seat on handles of shopping cart or place in side shopping cart. When the car seat is up on the handles, its a bit wobbly! In the States, all the grocery carts were compatible with car seats and they would just lock in. Here, the cart size differs from store to store. After trial and error , I know which stores I can do this with. Its the best option for me, because it keeps the cart open for groceries and baby is right in front of me, all in one! If you place the car seat inside the cart, of course you don't have as much space but you can always use the bottom of the cart too. 5. And the final and best option, drag along an older sibling, friend, spouse, maid, etc. to push the stroller while you push the grocery cart. I've tried dragging the cart behind me while pushing the stroller and I was a mess! Maybe I'm just not coordinated enough for it! But my baby is just about old enough to sit in the front of the cart (YAY!) so Im desperately looking for the cover so I can be free of this shopping-with-baby logistical drama, lol.

Lynette, it really is!! I had one back home for my older kids and it had all these toys and pockets, it really kept them busy and distracted. not to mention, kept the germs outta their mouths!
